About Us

Founded in 2019 Markland Ball homes was born out of the growing demand for beautiful unique homes, be they new build, extensions or refurbishments.

Richard Markland set up his original design studio in 2010 to pursue his passion for architecture. He brings to the practice thirty years’ experience in the construction industry. 

​

After completing a sensitive extension to a Grade II* listed country manor and an expansive new build property on the edge of Richmond Park, Alex Ball was shortlisted for 2020 Rising Star of the Year award by RIBAJ. 

 

Together they have created Markland Ball homes to bring a sharper focus to their design service. Alex leads a talented team able to deliver projects big and small from conception to completion.
